Hailing from the moonshiner hills of Brown County, Indiana, Amanda Webb delivers a powerful blend of rock, metal, soul, and blues. From behind the piano, her sound draws comparisons to Tori Amos and Adele—but when she steps out front with her full band, the energy shifts into something raw and electric, echoing the spirit of Janis Joplin and Heart.
A regional standout, Amanda is a recipient of the Southern Indiana Blues Society People’s Choice Award and winner of the Kentuckiana Blues Society Blues Challenge. She and her bands regularly headline festivals and have built a loyal and growing fan base.
With roots in musical theater and a foundation in opera, Amanda trained at Interlochen Arts Academy before earning her degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She has studied with renowned vocalists including Cheryl Studer, Richard Miller, Virginia Zeani, and Martina Arroyo, among others.
For over 30 years, Amanda has worked as a vocal coach, helping singers of all levels develop power, freedom, and authenticity in their voice. She is the author of The Singer’s Grimoire and serves as a master coach alongside Los Angeles-based celebrity vocal coach Roger Love.
In recent years, Amanda has turned her focus toward songwriting, studying with former Warner Chappell VP Judy Stakee and producer Jim Reilley, and earning a featured performance at the NSAI Tin Pan South Songwriting Seminar.
In 2024, she launched Sustayn, an all-original rock band inspired by the grit of AC/DC and Pat Benatar. In its first year, Sustayn surpassed 400,000 streams and earned ISSA Rock Band of the Year (Bronze). The band now tours nationally with a high-energy show rooted in female empowerment and a simple, urgent message: get up and live while you’re alive.
